Shirlee DiBacco

Calligraphy Artist
Voorhees, New Jersey

As Shirlee sat down and dipped her pen into a bottle of Higgins Eternal ink during her first calligraphy class in 1985, it was love at first flourish.

A member of the Philadelphia Calligraphers’ Society since then, she has served on its board for the past ten years, the last five as Vice-President. Being part of this wonderful organization has allowed her to improve her craft under the direction of some of the most respected calligraphers on the planet.

Shirlee loves being an integral part of her clients’ special occasions, whether it be a bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, anniversary or birthday party. From addressing envelopes, to hand lettering a meaningful quote on a kitchen wall, she treats each job as a unique opportunity to touch people’s lives through beautifully written words.

Shirlee resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with her husband Tony and two children. Her clients are located throughout the tri-state area and beyond. For more information regarding her calligraphy services, please e-mail Shirlee at foxyscribe_1@yahoo.com

“It’s about the promise of what’s inside, the hint of enclosed substance, the meaningful first impression. In the world of writing papers, the function of an envelope is to protect its contents. But its form serves as a vehicle for communication: What you have to say inside begins on the outside.” - Strathmore
